Bouchard Père & Fils, by virtue of being the largest vineyard owner of premiers and grands crus in the Côte d’Or, is one of the most distinguished sources of both estate-grown and négociant wines. In 1889, the domaine acquired the whole of the famous grand cru vineyard, Vigne de l’Enfant Jésus, which is today, the flagship wine of the estate. After being passed down the family for nine generations, the Bouchard empire was bought over by Joseph Henriot in 1995. Since then, major investment has poured into the vineyards and wine production areas giving rise to a new state-of-the-art, gravity-fed winery – Saint-Vincent.
